ZZ/OSS Installer is a PHP-based installation wizard for professional release management of modular PHP applications.

This project is being actively developed.

!Demo

Grab the sources and try it out yourself, which is fairly simple. An online demo is not available.

!Installation

System requirements: PHP >= 4.3.0, Apache 1.x or 2.x

Download zic-x.x.x.tgz, extract it to your web server's document root (htdocs/), then point your browser to the installer/ directory within the extracted directory. The setup wizard will show up and guide you through installing the installer.

!Update

The installer can be updated with the bundle of a newer version, which are named com.zzoss.zic.bundle-x.x.x.tgz. Download the bundle, in your installer go to "Manage Applications", click the update radio button of the ZZ/OSS Installer Client, procede, and on the next page, you will be asked to upload the bundle. Then the installer will guide you through the update process.
